This story reminded me of southern african women when they were cut. They don't know any better therefore they couldn't do better! This has been going on for quite some time. I believe that if a group of people make a trip there to inform and empower these women. This is just unacceptable, the way these women are being treated by the men in their culture. These women are being hated by their husbands and sometimes divorced if they can't produce boys. The woman purpose in life is to bare boys and if it's a girl to keep trying until a baby boy. We need to stand up and speak against these types of traditions that harm other people.
