Hello blog-world, It's your boy Pastorp. This video contains footage from an interview I filmed here at Kennedy King College. You will also find material from Google images, video I filmed at home, video from our Safe Haven Program, and footage shot on location at 63rd and Halsted. The material chosen was carefully selected, with the idea of uplifting our younger generation. Here at KKC, we are located in the heart of the ghetto, with access to many different media outlets. I wanted to shed a little light to those who may be in darkness. Just because the school is in the ghetto doesn't mean there is no quality education. I want to be a rock in the community and took the first step to further my education. With the information and education that I'm receiving here, I can use what I'm learning to point the youth in the right direction. There is light at the end of the tunnel and if our men get back to being positive role models, We can win the war.
