My 2 favorite Multi-Media links from 2010

When I look at life I choose to look through a "telescope" so I can see the finer things in life. When I view things it is not always color, but it is not always black and white. Somethings are left for me to place the color. In the documentary "Dark Side of The Lens", his story assures my method on how I view life and that is why I like this link. I too believe that if you open up your heart and eyes to the world, yield to your passion(s) and learn from your mistakes life can be pleasant because it's all about what you make it. The talent in the video emphasize why he capture and study waves. He does it because he loves it. Not for the money because he stated he doesn't get paid or sometime paid enough to do it. He also states how he physically injuries himself several times chasing after his passion. As like the young man in the documentary, I always encourage people to chase their dreams and not the money that comes with it because if you can grasp your dream and be the best at it, the money will start chasing you.

My second favorite media link is "Eric's Last Words". If what took place with him didn't boost my faith in God, it sure as hell scared me. My mind is still froze to the fact he dreamt his death and was compel to go make a video just incase he died. I sympathized with him for a second because it was obvious he wasn't ready to leave this earth, but at the same time he embraced it because of his faith. I must admit, I want to ask God how come he didn't do that for my dad? But I'm reminded with everything happens for a reason and knowing that reason may kill me, so I leave well enough alone. I just continue to pray for his family that they remain strong in dealing with their lost.

proposition 19 the new leaf

i like proposition 19" http://vimeo.com/16062780 new leaf produced and funded by i shot him because i loves him, damn him, damn him. a cause driven design animation great informative video. the logic behind legalizing pot is overwhelming. i do not understand why the average voter would be against it. i hope a great number in the closet supporters votes for proposition 19 once they are behind the voting booth curtain.

In the video, five years since Hurricane Katrina she was one of the big storms, it was and a lots of peoples lost they home ,and some peoples came up missing doing the storms. In the gulf coast .also everyone around the world who helped the people who really needed help to get them back in their homes because they did not have no place to go beside a lots of peoples did have no family to see about them .at all

My Favorite Packages

As I sit in the well lit classroom with noises of others talking, and the teacher helping other students, I am whisked away by the suddle yet calming sounds of the multimedia package I chose to watch “Dark Side of the Lens”. The way that the photographer and editor used the sounds of the water with the picture made you feel as if you were inside the wave with the surfers. I have watched many shows, packages, commercials etc. Never have I felt so encompassed by the small footage as I did with this package. I was not in class I was not sitting at a desk but in a wetsuit under the sea and inside one of the waves with the other divers. This by far was my favorite out of all of the films I watched.

The other video I watched had me totally captivated as well. However, in a completely different way. The package “Undesired” created so much sadness and dismay while I was watching this. I learned a lot however of the way that women in India were and in some instances still are treated. I was simply mortified! However the way that the photographer was able to capture the rawness of the culture all the way to filming the burned woman was, I’m sure, a very difficult thing. Yet, I don’t think any way else would have been as effective. The way that it shifted from still photos to film gave two different feelings. The photographs created a long lasting image in one’s mind while the film brought life to it. Even though this video was hard to watch the media choices were brilliant ones.
